The month of March was full of wonderful activities for seniors on the All Saints campus! They celebrated Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day with fun gatherings and entertainment, went bowling at Middleton Sports Bowl, visited Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and learned about tapping maple trees from the Aldo Leopold Center. Apartment tenants had a hoot celebrating the 110th Birthday of the OREO cookie, and residents in memory care took a trip to the always delicious Icki Sticki in Mount Horeb. The assisted living men’s group built an indoor herb garden with the help of maintenance staff member Tom. The plan is to plant herbs like thyme, rosemary, basil and more! Lastly, Dr. Louis C. Berhnhardt, a retired cardiothoracic surgeon, gave an interesting talk about what his days used to look like as a surgeon. The seniors had lots of questions for him and learned a lot! Special thanks to all who shared their time and talents with us this past month. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
