April was a fabulous month for seniors on the All Saints campus. There were lots of wonderful activities, including Easter celebrations, an Arbor Day craft, and an amazing Johnny Cash / Elvis Presley performance. Senior and Main Street Apartment tenants celebrated National Jelly Bean Day with tastings and games, and also held a delicious Bake-Off. Congratulations to Sue Adler, who took first place with her delicious cranberry bars! Thanks to Peggy and Jim Weber for sharing their hobby of beekeeping with residents as well! They showed interesting slides, brought in beekeeping suits, and shared information about bees. Seniors on the campus also enjoyed two unique presentations – ‘Zoo to You’ by the Henry Vilas Zoo and a visit from Hoo’s Woods Raptor Center. Both events featured learning more about animals like owls, snakes, turtles and millipedes and getting to see and touch them! What a cool experience! Lastly, April is National Volunteer Month. Assisted living and memory care volunteers as well as apartment tenants who volunteer were treated to special celebrations in honor of this. All Saints would like to thank all of the amazing volunteers who so graciously share their time with our folks throughout the year. We appreciate everything you do and are blessed to have you as part of our organization! Wow – what an excitingly full month! Thanks to all who shared their time and talents.
