“The folks at ElderSpan do business the same way as we do. They’re honest, ethical and believe great customer service is critical to building and sustaining loyalty and trust. When I look back at the many projects we have built with ElderSpan I smile because I know our business relationship has been built literally one brick at a time. And like any meaningful relationship it has been the result of hard work and dedication. I hope we will have the privilege of serving our friends at ElderSpan for many years to come. ”Paul Lenhart
“For more than 10 years, State Bank of Cross Plains has been a proud financial partner to ElderSpan Management, fully supporting its mission of providing seniors with the highest-quality living options possible. ElderSpan’s core values – a commitment to family, a focus on community, an unwavering dedication to service excellence – align perfectly with our own, and it’s upon that foundational common ground that we’ve built our strong relationship. We look forward to helping ElderSpan continue to grow and positively impact the lives of so many in Greater Madison.”Jim Tubbs
“Upland Hills Health relies on ElderSpan to be our “go to” consultant and partner for senior health. We have been in partnership with ElderSpan for more than two decades, and they consistently have been trustworthy, resident-centered, fiscally focused, and compassionate care providers. We could not ask for a better partner.”Lisa Schnedler
“ElderSpan has played a key role in the success of our All Saints Neighborhood Assisted Living and Memory Care residence. We enjoy a professional relationship with their leadership team and are truly blessed to be able to count on their expertise and creative solutions to senior living. The care and compassion shown by ElderSpan’s staff makes our residence feel friendly, safe, and comfortable for all our residents.”Jackson Fonder
“Having worked with ElderSpan Management for over 15 years, I personally have witnessed their continued growth and success. I am most impressed that with this growth they have maintained a family atmosphere which transcends through the organization as a whole. While growth can be rewarding, it can also bring challenges. What I find most inspiring is their ability to balance company management while maintaining a personal investment in the day-to-day care and lives of the residents they serve. To balance this growth and not lose sight of the foundation of the company is an extraordinary accomplishment.”Jeremy D Bartlett
All staff of the senior living residences operated by ElderSpan Management are ElderSpan employees and adhere to our quality standards. Our assisted living services are resident-centered and healthcare-focused, with the success of our communities based solely on the quality of our Care Coordination Team. Our Care Coordination Teams are comprised of qualified individuals covering the following areas:
Resident Care Assistance
The role of “primary caregiver” is filled by our Resident Assistants. As the focal point within our teams, Resident Assistants provide person-centered care through assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, and light housekeeping. They also provide a vital communication link between residents and families and are truly the quality control eyes and ears of our communities.
We pay great attention to the quality and variety of meals we serve our residents. That’s why we employ full time dietary staff who are responsible for planning, managing and preparing daily meals. Food tastes and preferences are especially important to aging seniors, which is why quality control in dining services is a frequent topic for our Care Coordination Team.
Housekeeping and Maintenance Services
First impressions say a lot. That’s why we employ full time housekeeping and maintenance staff who are committed to our high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal. Our residents and their visitors frequently comment on the beautiful living environment of our residences, both inside and out.
Our quality of life commitment is enhanced by the full time activity staff we employ. Their responsibilities include learning each person’s hobbies and interests, tailoring Life Enrichment programs to help residents engage in active living, providing leadership for various group programs, and one-to-one interaction.
Our care philosophy has led us to employ nurses as Care Coordinators at each building. Major responsibilities of this position include: development of individual care plans for all residents, coordination of all health care services that occur within and outside each residence, and as-needed health evaluations due to incident or illness.
We employ full time community administrators. While not a requirement, all of our administrators are Licensed Nurses. Having a health care professional as the leader of our Care Coordination Teams improves our residents’ opportunity to comfortably age in place. Major responsibilities include: coordination of all assisted living services, building oversight, staff development and management, and overall resident and family satisfaction.
